mwbqWS-I (Web Services Integration Organization): è un'mwbgorganizzazione formata da diversi produttori (mwbwMicrosoft, mwcaIBM, mwcqSun Microsystem, mwcgOracle, mwcwHP, mwdaBEA ed altri) che si sono uniti per assicurare l'mwdqinteroperabilità dei mwdgservizi Web tra tutte le mwdwpiattaforme. Per fare ciò, hanno creato una raccomandazione denominata Basic Profile 1.0, che definisce un insieme di regole per l'utilizzo congiunto di mweqXML, mwegSOAP, e mwewWSDL al fine di creare servizi Web interoperabili.
